Uniform

The Boy Scout uniform is the primary tool used to identify a boy and his merits.

The uniform should be worn properly at all times, or not worn at all.

UNIFORM INSPECTION STANDARDS 

Scout Shirt

Shirt: Main part of the uniform. Shows the rank of the scout, the position in the troop, and other various awards

Pants

Pants: Standard green color, now in shorts convertible styles

Neckerchief

Neckerchief: The troop scarf which is worn around the neck and fastened by an official Boy Scout slide

Belt

Belt: Standard scout belt (green) with gold clasp

Socks

Socks: Green scout socks or hiking socks

Sash

Sash: Long green sash worn across the body that dispays all the earned merit badges

Cap

Cap: (optional) Official Boy scout cap that is green with the scout emblem embedded into it
